For Milan Design Week, Louis Vuitton showed its new Objets Nomades collections at Palazzo Serbelloni on Corso Venezia from 21 to 26 April 2026, with a second presentation at its Via Montenapoleone store.
The centre of the year is a homage to Pierre Legrain (1888 to 1929), the Art Deco designer who created the house's first piece of furniture. His Celeste dressing table, first designed in 1921, returns in its original Omega shape, in lacquered wood and Nomade leather. The Riviera Chilienne deck chair, after a 1925 Legrain design, also returns, combining wood, leather and mother-of-pearl marquetry.
In the Gabrio room, living, dining and library settings were anchored by the deep midnight blue Tikal rug. New pieces by Raw Edges and Estudio Campana sat alongside early trunks and travel pieces, and the collection extends to a leather marquetry box, tableware, a throw and the Nuits de Paris cushion.
Objets Nomades began as a platform for collectible design built on travel. This year, Louis Vuitton goes back to its own Art Deco roots.
