About CEELOU
CEELOU is a journal of light and the objects around it. It follows the houses that shape high-end lighting, furniture and interiors, from the glass furnaces of Murano and the showrooms of Milan to the studios of Antwerp, London and New York.
New collections, launches and fairs from the lighting houses, the furniture makers, the maisons that design for the home, the silversmiths and crystal makers, and the galleries that define collectible design. Light comes first: how a lamp is made, what it is made of, and what it does to a room.
Every story starts from official material issued by the houses: press releases, press kits and presentations. Names, dates, places and figures are checked against those sources, and the sources are linked at the foot of each article, so readers can always go back to the original. Older news keeps its original date.
CEELOU writes for architects, interior designers and collectors who specify and buy at the top of the market. That is why our stories favour materials, makers and specifications over adjectives.
CEELOU publishes throughout the year and gathers its stories in seasonal issues. No. 01 is Autumn 2026.
Where the publisher has a commercial relationship with a house featured in a story, that story carries a note saying so.
Houses, agencies and press offices can send releases and image kits to press@ceelou.com. Images are published with the credit the house provides.
CEELOU is published by VEDETTEN nv, Zandstraat 2, 8300 Knokke-Heist, Belgium. Enterprise number BE 0650.802.890.
